The AUXX Project: Music-Informed Mentorship for Talented, Misunderstood Minds.

I am deeply passionate about the emotionally transformative power of creativity for our mental health. Built upon three hollistic principles of music – emotional understanding, creative collaboration, and cultural awareness – I provide affordable, one-to-one mentoring for young people aged 13 to 25 facing societal and educational challenges in the UK. Sessions are accessible remotely on Zoom or in-person in Bristol and Bath, UK. In-person sessions are also available in Birmingham or Leeds, UK with one of our associated mentors.

The Auxx Project is built on both lived experience and professional success, with a goal-oriented approach focused on supporting young people to unlock and harness their talents, to navigate life’s challenges and move towards an exciting and fulfilling future.

My Story.

“It took significant professional achievements, lived experiences and self-reflection before opening a space to support people facing their own challenges.

Despite the many cherished memories, my adolescence was marked by challenges such as parental separation, exposure to addiction, racism, and later, witnessing the painful loss of two family members. They were hurdles that imposed substantial obstacles on my journey towards personal and professional accomplishment. It was my deep passion for music and creativity, positivity and optimistic thinking that enabled me to cut through the challenges, to eventually sign a record deal, and work alongside some of the largest brands in the entertainment industry.

My experience within the United Kingdom's education system proved to be riddled with challenges. I was pushed into an "enterprise pathway," which prevented me from pursuing a music GCSE. As a young person with aspirations of being a music producer, this not only deeply upset me at the time, but posed a threat to my life and career as it is now. But through ambition – I committed time to learning the intricacies of the craft, limited to a basic laptop and a pair of headphones from my bedroom, and by the time I left school, I was offered a deal from URBNET Records in North America.

Now, my priority is to channel the success I've achieved into supporting young, ambitious people who are currently facing challenges akin to what I once experienced, to guide them toward a life of excitement, fulfillment and creativity. The Auxx project is a programme designed not only to help you discover your potential, but develop and leverage your creative talents, while providing you with the real stepping stones required to progress into the industry.”
